3. Public Participation [Per Town Council Rules, this segment of the meeting shall not exceed thirty (30) minutes unless extended by the Mayor, with the consent of a majority of the Town Council.]
Kathy Hale, 54 Orchard Hill Drive - here because of the reports in the newspaper regarding status of CT. Studios project. Keep your eyes on the prize. this is a large project with a big prize at the end. In this economy need jobs. Do not get derailed - I personnally have no financial connections to the developers.
4. Communications
Mayor - Town getting prepared for the Storm Matt - meeting tomorrow at 10am to check everything. We will be putting up protocols and tracking the storm. Have moved the EOC to this building. Public Works is looking at their equipment and getting ready. There will be serious wind and rain. we will be on top of everything. If there is a shelter will start at the Community Center and if gets too big will be moved to High School. Have tested all Facebook, Twitter, etc. Anwar - We have done very well in the past. We talked about the CERC Teams - may be worthwhile to go back and implement something like that in the future. We have a community with a lot of volunteers. There is a civil preparedness ordinance that would benefit the Town of South Windsor. Will put this on an agenda in the future. Galligan - Chief Reed has been reviewing this type of scenario
5. Executive Session
A. Discussion regarding Connecticut Studios - Contract Terms as Related to the Reverter Clause
At 7:11 p.m. Bazzano - go into executive session for discussion regaridng CT Studios Invite - Dwight invite Economic Development Coordinator McCann - is this a debateable motion - concern going into Executive Session Dwight - may have potential litigation. Cary - second unanimous
at 9:15 adjourned the executive session CAry, Gary, unanimous

B. Resolution Extending the Reverter Clause Deadline
Deputy Mayor Bazzano - Tow SW and SW Red acting by their duly authorizied officials extend to 12/23/2012 ---------------- and recorded-------------- The TM is authorized and directed to Ed Havens second Bazzano - we have amendment ot quick claim deed tht will change Attorney - modifies that paragraph to extend the deadline Anwar - a lot of people have questions - the Town Council is all on board and trying to protect the Town and want tomake sure we have opportunity to bring a good project to the town which will bring jobs. will work with CT Studios Mayor - what we are talking about a little over 1 million dollars in tax revenue, substantial jobs and boost to economy. The ball is in their court. you have your work cut out - even though it was extended once would not count on that again. Havens - Galligan - attorney Smith was also invited into the executive session Havens - will support but has been a long journey. there are other things to do. it is something that I am pleased that we did thing. provides jobs and income for the communit and will do a lot for the Town of SouthWIndsor. We take this very seriously. 135 Ridgefield Drive - would like more information posted on this project from the last three years. Mayor - put documet on there and time lines with dates on there.
