Executive Session A. To discuss a personnel matter – Executive Search Firm.
4. New Business A. Resolution Authorizing the Assistant Town Manager, Vanessa Perry to Negotiate and Execute an Agreement with _________________ (Deputy Mayor Paterna) WHEREAS, the Town Council prepared a Request for Proposal to retain an Executive Search Firm to assist with the recruitment and hiring of a Town Manager; and WHEREAS, all of the RFP’s that were received by the Town Council Office by 10:00 a.m. on October 5, 2018, were reviewed and resulted in two firms being interviewed NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council has chosen to retain _________________ to assist the Town Council in its search for a new Town Manager; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby authorizes Assistant Town Manager, Vanessa Perry to negotiate and execute an agreement retaining _________________ to provide said services; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the South Windsor Town Council hereby requests that said agreement is reviewed by Town Attorney, Morris Borea; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council also authorizes Assistant Town Manager, Vanessa Perry to sign any and all documents necessary to facilitate said agreement with _____________________. 6.
